Dr. Aarti Agarwal is board certified and specializes in internal medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University and her M.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As an undergraduate and medical student, she developed an interest in working with under-served populations and performed research on malaria and AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa. After completing her internal medicine residency at New York University, Dr. Agarwal moved to Atlanta to be part of the Epidemic Intelligence Service, a fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In addition, she was faculty at Emory University as Assistant Professor of Medicine.
