Dr. Alexa Martin has always wanted to be a physician. As a child, she read her father’s medical dictionaries. “No day is the same in primary care, and the learning never stops. There are few professions where you get to interact with people on such a deep and meaningful level,” she explains. Dr. Martin says she likes to be straightforward with her patients and loves the opportunity to help seniors “age with dignity and grace.” Dr. Martin often reads journals and listens to podcasts to keep up with the latest medical advancements. “Healthcare is a human right,” she adds.
In her spare time, Dr. Martin enjoys dancing, watching movies, and reading. She also loves playing games with her family, especially since they are all competitive.
