Dr. Angela Perry became a physician to pass on the warm care that she received when hospitalized as a young adult. Since starting as a hospitalist, Dr. Perry has spent many years in primary care, focused mostly on seniors. “I want to preserve their health so they can keep blessing us with their wisdom and fun,” says Dr. Perry, who’s board certified in internal medicine. “My favorite part is seeing smiles—when they start to get better or find a way to cope with an illness.”
When not with patients, Dr. Perry likes to read medical research, spend time with her family, write fiction, serve as a church deacon, sing, and play the flute and saxophone. Having grown up on a farm, she also enjoys being outdoors and maintaining a flower garden.
