About Austin Gitomer

As a child, Dr. Austin Gitomer loved seeing the connections her dad, a primary care physician, made with patients. As a physician, Dr. Gitomer loves the “opportunity for lifelong learning.” She also likes working as a team to aid patients. “I prioritize the human being behind the chronic conditions in order to better understand what life looks like for them outside of the clinic, and thus how to best empower them to manage their health,” she explains. Dr. Gitomer appreciates the opportunity to serve the senior population. She especially enjoys learning from them and listening to their stories.

In her free time, Dr. Gitomer can be found hiking or swimming with her husband and dogs. She is also a racecar fan, particularly Formula 1.
