About Fatema Mewa, MB, BCh, BAO, FRCPC
Dr. Fatema Mewa was inspired by her father to pursue a career in medicine. “I recall visiting him at his own practice and at times being able to witness how much of an impact a physician can make in their patients’ lives,” she says. Caring for patients and working to make a difference in their lives are two of the things she enjoys most about her profession. Dr. Mewa is grateful for the opportunity to serve the senior population and says she loves “getting to know patients for who they are as individual people.”
When not with patients, Dr. Mewa enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and traveling. She also loves watching television and movies. She shares that she is a Harry Potter fanatic.
