About Ivana Akinyeye, DPM

Dr. Ivana Akinyeye pursued a career as a podiatrist because she enjoys “treating a variety of conditions” and likes seeing “the instant relief and improvement in quality of life a patient may experience.” She loves encouraging and educating her patients. “I want them to know that they are not alone, and they have someone rooting for them,” Dr. Akinyeye explains. She enjoys attending medical conferences to stay up to date with new treatments. “Feet are an important part of the human body. We never realize how much we need them until an ailment arises,” she explains.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Akinyeye enjoys hiking, tennis, completing DIY projects, and playing the piano. She also recently started painting.
