Dr. Maryam Nowroozi was inspired to be a doctor from a very young age, through the influence of her mother, who is also a doctor. She considers it a privilege to care for seniors and takes time to make a difference with thoughtful and empathetic support. “I’m humbled that they give me an opportunity to travel part of their journey with them,” she says, “to keep them healthy and safe, to ease their pain and suffering and always to reassure them that they are not alone.”
When not caring for patients or keeping up with the latest medical research, Dr. Nowroozi enjoys reading, cooking, watching football, and spending time with her family. She also loves traveling, hoping to someday take her children to Iran where her parents were raised.
