Dr. Rikitha Menezes has wanted to be a doctor for as long as she can remember. “Coming from a family that values older adults and the wisdom they impart, I truly enjoy caring for seniors and getting to know them,” she says. “Hearing about their history and social life is fascinating. It also allows me to develop a plan for better quality of life that’s individualized and preserves their dignity and respect.”
In her time off, Dr. Menezes likes to cook foods from around the world and play volleyball and tennis. When time permits, she loves to go skiing and travel with family, too. Visiting Tanzania has been her favorite adventure so far, where she got to sit on the edge of the world’s largest inactive, intact volcanic caldera.
