About Vera Lafosse

At only five years old, Dr. Vera Lafosse, who is a first generation Haitian American, noticed the lack of healthcare in Haiti and vowed to become a doctor. “I believe that it is truly a calling from God to serve others and be privileged to care for the underserved. I am blessed to be called,” she explains. She loves partnering with patients. “I want my patients to feel that they are not alone,” she says. She aims to treat patients like family and caters her care to treat each patient’s specific needs. She especially loves advocating for and empowering her senior patients.

In her free time, Dr. Lafosse enjoys playing golf, baking, and learning about other cultures. She also loves spending time with family and friends.
