About Yvette Deslatte
Board-certified physician Yvette Deslatte earned her medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her family medicine residency at the Earl K. Long Medical Center and was chief resident during her final year. Prior to joining JenCare, Dr. Deslatte was with the St. John VA Outpatient Clinic in Reserve, Louisiana.
“My passion within medicine has always been preventative care,” said Dr. Deslatte. “As I’ve watched my grandparents and parents age, my philosophy of medicine has changed to helping our seniors to live as healthy and happy a lifestyle as possible.”
Dr. Deslatte and her husband have four children. They also have two dogs, three cats, a hedgehog and a rabbit. She enjoys spending time with her family, and is ready to go cruising to the Bahamas.
