About Aparajita Mishra
Dr. Aparajita "Jeeta" Mishra, MD was inspired to pursue medicine by her mother, a physician whose dedication to patients left a lasting impression. "Being around doctors and seeing their work inspired me," she says. She chose to work with the senior population because of the special connection she feels with older adults. "They are the sweetest and most appreciative of even the smallest help they get — working with them reminds me of my parents, who I have left in India and get to see only once a year," she says.
Dr. Mishra builds strong relationships through four simple but powerful principles: listening, acknowledging, being honest, and putting in the effort to make a change — even a small one. She takes time to understand each patient's unique needs and tailors care accordingly, believing this is what builds the deepest trust between patient and provider. When not with patients, Dr. Mishra loves music in all its forms — concerts, music and dance festivals, and karaoke nights with her kids and friends.
