About David Onyabe
Dr. David Onyabe used to work as a research scientist before pursuing medicine. He wanted to have a direct impact on patients and explains that his favorite part of being a physician is “the gratification of helping a patient improve their health.” To help build trust, he tries to learn at least one non-health related matter about his patients. “I consider it the highest privilege that a patient would trust me with their health,” Dr. Onyabe says. He appreciates the opportunity to educate people and likes explaining the connections between health and food.
When not with patients, Dr. Onyabe loves spending time with his wife and children. He enjoys exercising and is an avid NFL fan. He also finds space exploration fascinating.
