About Karen Wilsman
Karen Wilsman, who has extensive experience working with hospice and in Intensive Care Units, pursued a career as a nurse practitioner because she “wanted to help seniors during the most vulnerable time in their lives.” She strives to “engage patients in their own care” and get to know them beyond their health issues. She wants her patients to know that she actively listens to what they say. “I’m going to be there for them, not only for their physical health but also their spiritual and mental health as well,” she explains.
Karen Wilsman is also an artist. In her free time, she enjoys painting and making bridal bouquets. She also loves spending time with her church family, husband, grown children, and new grandbaby.
