About Shani Hopwood
Dr. Shani Hopwood is grateful for the opportunity to serve communities in need of accessible healthcare. She loves “letting patients know that they are valued and cared for.” She believes a larger focus on wellness and prevention would be beneficial to society. Dr. Hopwood takes pride in getting to know her patients. “I always try to understand what they are most concerned with and try to have a team approach to helping them achieve their goals,” she says.
Originally from South Florida, Dr. Hopwood fell in love with Chicago during her residency. “I am grateful to have found a job here doing what I love,” she says. In her free time, she likes walking and enjoying nature. Dr. Hopwood also enjoys watching old television sitcoms.
