About Shannon R. Jackson
Shannon R. Jackson, who was born and raised in New Orleans, is honored to serve her community. “I love being able to relate to patients and talk about family and food,” she says. She loves “empowering patients to improve their health.” She adds, “It’s extremely rewarding working with the senior population.” If she could change anything about healthcare today, she would eliminate racial disparities and emphasize the importance of preventive care. “I involve the patient in their care and provide emotional support,” she says.
In her free time, Shannon R. Jackson enjoys exploring new restaurants around the city and traveling with her friends and family. She shares that she has a fish pond in her backyard with Koi fish and goldfish.
