About Sheetal Gambhir
Growing up, Dr. Sheetal Gambhir would emulate her father by playing with her toy stethoscope. “I love how medicine is the perfect mix of science and human emotions and stories,” she says. She aims to improve the quality of life of her patients and “help them find joy.” She gets to know all aspects of her patients’ lives to learn what matters most to them. She explains, “Medicine can only be practiced in the context in which the patient lives and experiences their day.” She finds it incredibly rewarding to care for the senior population. “Both patients and I work as a team to achieve health goals,” she says.
In her free time, Dr. Gambhir enjoys hiking, painting, and writing. She is currently drafting a book on geriatrics.
