About Prakash Ettigi
Board certified in psychiatry and neurology, Dr. Prakash Ettigi has been treating psychiatric patients for almost 40 years. He earned his medical degree from Kanrantaka University in Hubli, India and received his training in psychiatry at McGill University in Montreal, Canada after completing a rotating internship at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, New York. Dr. Ettigi earned his master’s in neuroscience from the University of Toronto. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Society of NeuroPsychopharmacology and the Psychiatric Society of Virginia.

Dr. Ettigi and his wife have three children. When he is not working, he enjoys reading, watching television and movies, and traveling. Dr. Ettigi is fluent in English, Hindi and Kannada.
